www.cbradiomagazine.com This is a video review of the Cobra 29 LTD BT Bluetooth CB which is a new CB radio from Cobra which incorporates Bluetooth technology. This is the only CB radio on the market with this technology. **PLEASE NOTE – ON SOME CELL PHONES YOU’LL HAVE TO ENTER A PIN NUMBER DURING SETUP TO GET THE PHONE AND CB RADIO TO PAIR CORRECTLY** Part 1 discusses the features of the radio and gives a detailed overview of this model Part 2 gives detailed instructions on how to set up the Bluetooth feature and shows it in action Part 3 explains how to adjust modulation and what other modifications can be done to this new radio Overall we are impressed with the new styling of the Cobra 29 LTD. This model has all of the performance and abilities of the prior Cobra 29 LTD models with the addition of talkback and the Bluetooth feature. We tested out the Bluetooth function and found it to be very useful on the road and it exceeded our expectations for Bluetooth performance.

But, What I want to know is, can it link with my laptop so that audio from my laptop not only goes into the radio, but also is broadcasted from the radio to other CBers???

Surly the whole point of BT is you do away wih the mic and cable and pair a headset to the rig.!

Can you talk on the radio using a Bluetooth headset, or does it function only as a Bluetooth audio device for cell phone calls, disabling the CB functions while you’re on the phone?

  9. cbradiomagazine sagt:

The radio acts as a bluetooth device for receiving calls. The CB functions are disabled while you are on a call.

Ahh, thanks. Now, I wonder if they will come out with a version that lets you get the CB audio in a Bluetooth earpiece… that would be pretty handy, especially in a loud cabin.

Cool, CB actually became a little more modern.

i am going to get one now since i seen this video, now i don’t have to worry about having the phone by my ears, talking on the phone like talking on the cb radio… awesome!

  13. starshock01 sagt:

can that get hooked up to a computer with bluetooth? because that would be awesome!

  14. bossman380 sagt:

Thats awesome! I wish ham radios had this option!

  15. Myphton sagt:

why does it seem like channel 9 is never monitored anymore?

  16. Doggieman1111 sagt:

that actually makes CB relevant to the 21st century. This almost makes me want to get one.

Bought one two days ago. Hooked it up and I am so happy…
    Loved it.

My brother owns a cb radio

I am getting feedback that the mike volume is not that good while I am trucking along. Dynamic does not seem to affect it in any ways … Also conversation is restricted considering it is either incoming or outgoing but never like a cell phone conversation unless you use the phone mic but again that is not too good while the vehicle is in transit..

  20. FelixTheHouseFreak sagt:

CB is still very relevant today. Millions are still in use.

  21. andrew0901280 sagt:

how did you hook it up in your house

  22. addz91 sagt:

Power adapter many are variable with power output. Connect possitive and negative and away you go
