    I thought it was in some sort of relation to the rule of 3, and I was right (to an extent)

    so if it adds up to 27, the secret numbers is 9?

  8. goodisgoog sagt:

    i sent you the number and you said either 0 or 9 and then chose 9 but it was 9… soo close

    so when I multiplied a series of 2s and 5s together, an finished with the number ’2′, it didn’t like me giving out just the 0s

    seriously? That’s what I’ve been waiting for??? I saw that trick as soon as I heard the puzzle, but then I said, what if I took 5*5*5*…*5 until I was up there…then it wouldn’t work!

    eg: 9765625

    secret: #7

    9+6+5+6+2+5 = 33 missing should be 3 (36), but it is 7.

    Waited almost two months for this! BAH! :P

    robertborgersen since ppl dont think that way when your out, and if you look at the whole video you see with some of them he actually starts the trick for them, and puts like 6*3 witch is 18 witch is a multiply of nine if you pres 5^n it will still work. etc. you just need to make it work :D

  20. Zanjistic sagt:

    This didn’t work for me, maybe you have to multiply by numbers that add to 9…

  21. scamschool sagt:

    @VincentDackart Sweet!

  22. 14Wannabe14 sagt:

    AWESOME :D DDD

    This doesn’t always work, because when using the nines rule, if a digit is a nine, then the other digits will add up to a multiple of nine. So say someone got a number like 3,219,264. And their secret number was the nine, then the other digits will add up to a multiple of nine. 3 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 6 + 4 = 18, and that is a multiple of nine, so if you do what the magic says to do, you would have to guess a zero, but the number is a nine. That is one dilemma i came across.

  24. lakazumi2004 sagt:

    it worked for me
    number 9×3 = 27
    secret = 7
    nearest to 2 is 9 -2 = 7

  25. puppetmstr90 sagt:

    @J003S3PH I had this same thing happen to me when I got to the number 39,191,040. I chose the number 9. If anyone is smart and knows this trick, they can trick the magician big time :p
