www.sybase.com The number of people using cell phones has dramatically increased over the past few years and this is because of advances that have been made in mobile technology like you can now access your email and calendar from your mobile device on the go. This is very useful for employees that travel a lot and need to keep in touch with the companies they do business with. The number of cell phones has increased dramatically over the last few years mainly due to the general development in mobile technology but also due to the fact that you can now get access to e-mail and calendar from your phone when you are on the move. Many employees at Carlsberg could benefit from this technology and Carlsberg IT has therefore initiated a pilot project in order to test a solution. Please tell us Claus how many people are currently testing the solution? Ten to twelve people at Carlsberg Breweries and Carlsberg Denmark are testing the application. During December we are going to extend the pilot to also cover Norway and Sweden. What kind of technology is it? Well its a technology that allows you to bring your e-mail and calendar with you on your phone at all times.
